A Hair Affair: Every Girl Needs One of These STAT!

So I finally did it. I bit the bullet and decided purchase some elastic ribbon hair ties that are suddenly everywhere. Upon a recent trip to Sephora a metallic pack of these bad boys caught my eye, and being the crazy magpie I am with an insatiable affinity for anything shiny,  I just couldn't pass them up.

I really do not understand how I took so long to purchase these. I am in L.O.V.E. Not only do they come in adorable colours (aren't we over the matching elastic to hair scenario anyway?), but they actually work, which surprised me somewhat. I will admit, I have the finest hair on earth, so I cannot speak for all of you beauties with lush thick locks, but these really did hold my hair to an unexpected degree. To be honest, lately I have found my standard little ring elastics have not been serving me well during gym classes or running, and I have been growing increasingly frustrated, having to constantly tie and retie my ponytail. The Ribbon Tie Elastics have a lot more elastic to make more loops around your do, so they hold up very well.

Another feature fine hair girls especially will appreciate, is that they do not break your hair! For years and years I used to train as a dancer, so my hair was constantly up in an ponytail or the likes and I found over time, especially after I went full time, I had a little halo of broken hairs when my hair was out from the harsh hair elastics, exactly in the genral area of where my ponytail would otherwise sit. Not happy! Luckily these little babies are much softer and kinder to your hair, and bonus point if you wear your hair up at night,  they will not give you that annoying ponytail bump when you wake up in the morning. Bless!

So I am sure you can gather for this spiel that I am a fan of ribbon tie elastics, and could not recomend them more. Yes they are more expensive (around $10 at Sephora), but highly highly worth it in my humble opinion.
